Bear right off the exit ramp onto Asbury Ave. and continue heading east all the way to the ocean, following the signs to Asbury Park.  You will come to the Asbury Park Circle (see  notes below), bear left then right onto Asbury Avenue. Keep the Coca-Cola Bottling company on your right and you're heading in the right direction.

3. FROM THE NORTH (NJ TURNPIKE to RT 18): If the NJ Turnpike South Exit 11 (Parkway) is backed up - continue on the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 9 (about 5 minutes more..) ROUTE 18 - SHORE RESORTS. Take Route 18 South to   Route 66 East - Asbury Park. (about 30 miles)

4. Garden State Parkway exit 105 - Eatontown  - Rt.36

8. FROM THE TURNPIKE SOUTH:  Turnpike Exit 7a - Shore Points. This is Rt. 195. Take that east until Route 18. Take Route 18 North to  the Asbury Park exit (Route 66 east). (about 3 miles). Head east on Route 66, partly around the Asbury Park Circle bearing right onto Asbury Ave.

8a. Continue on 195 East which becomes Rt. 38. This is Belmar. Go left - north to Asbury Park.

BY TRAIN - out of Newark Penn Station - New York Penn Station

See the NJ Transit Schedule: www.njtransit.com

The Asbury Park Circle
I wrote  "hopefully someday the Circle will disappear. "  Then someone wrote in:
....As a lifetime resident at the 'Jersey Shore'.     I logged onto your website, and noticed that someone had typed "hopefully someday, the circle will disappear". I wanted to let that person know, that the circle is part of Asbury Park's history....as were the other circles in New Jersey that were destroyed to make highway space  for the thousands of (unwanted people in my opinion) flocking to live here each year. I know progress must move forward, but I hope that it is not for the sake of the almighty buck.   ....What's so bad about a circle anyhow? It is one of the many things that makes New Jersey a unique place to live.   Wouldn't it be great to have the only circle left in NJ?    Thank you for your time, Sincerely, Born and raised at the Jersey Shore.
